With the invitation and production of ︎MISTAKER MAKER, I made this mural for the 5th edition of the ︎Fazunchar Urban Art Festival. The composition features a phrase translated into the Laínte dialect and, through calligraphic strokes, seeks to create a memory with the aim of safeguarding the village of Fontão Fundeiro — located in Figueiró dos Vinhos — as part of the history and genesis of this dialect. The graphic elements present in the mural refer to the territorial context and textile textures, alluding to the raw materials that formed the basis of the work of the bufarinheiros (itinerant fabric merchants), who were responsible for the creation of this dialect. The phrase in cursive script 'appears' amidst this territory, which, intentionally, is left untranslated, inspired by the very origin of the dialect itself, based on Latin — 'to express oneself in a way that no one understands' — and is pronounced like a postcard to those arriving in the village: 'Our Laínte has not died.'

À convite e organização da ︎MISTAKER MAKER, fiz esse mural para a 5ª edição do ︎Festival de Arte Urbana Fazunchar. A composição apresenta uma frase traduzida para o dialeto Laínte e propõe, a partir do traço caligráfico, criar uma memória com o objetivo de salvaguardar a vila de Fontão Fundeiro — localizada em Figueiró dos Vinhos — como parte da história e gênese desse dialeto. Os elementos gráficos presentes no mural remetem ao contexto territorial e às texturas têxteis, fazendo alusão à matéria-prima que serviu de base para o trabalho dos bufarinheiros (comerciantes ambulantes de tecidos), responsáveis pela criação desse dialeto. A frase em letras cursivas, 'aparece' em meio a esse território, que propositalmente não têm tradução, inspirada na origem do próprio dialeto, baseado no Latim, — 'expressar- se de um modo que ninguém entende' — e pronunciar como um cartão postal a quem chega à vila:'O nosso Laínte, não morreu.'
